Manasawin Phetmalaikul qualified for the World Snooker Tour for the first time in June 2023 after he successfully came through the Asia-Oceania Q School event in Thailand.
He won six matches to qualify, culminating in a 4-1 success against Ka Wai Cheung in the final round to turn professional.
Having previously competed in England as an amateur, Phetmalaikul reached the final of the English 6-Red Championship in 2022, losing out to Sean O’Sullivan.
