Kyren Wilson fired in the third 147 break of his career at the Betway UK Championship in Milton Keynes.

World number four Wilson’s perfect run came in the sixth frame of his opening round tie against Ashley Hugill. The Warrior’s other two maximum breaks came at the 2020 Welsh Open and the 2017 International Championship.

That puts Wilson in line for the £15,000 high break prize on offer during this event. It also triggers an automatic donation of £10,000 from sponsors Betway to Jessie May Children’s Hospice, who are WST’s official charity partner.

It’s the fifth maximum break made on the professional circuit this season and the 162nd in snooker history.

The break was officiated by Colin Humphries.
