Junior Snooker Summer Clubs to Return from July

Home » Junior Snooker Summer Clubs to Return from July

Next month will see the return of Junior Snooker Holiday Clubs to four snooker clubs across England as part of a national programme to get more young people playing our sport this summer.

Launched in 2019 by the English Partnership for Snooker and Billiards (EPSB) with the backing of Sport England, the scheme has already seen over 100 new junior players across a range of age groups engage with snooker for the first time.

Having not taken place last year due to the global pandemic, the EPSB is delighted to have been able to organise a series of sessions at four clubs for 2021, running from 12 July until 4 September.

All coaching sessions are led by a qualified WPBSA Snooker Coach and supported by two Young Leaders aged 14-16 who have been nominated by the club to help inspire younger players.
