Shaun Murphy made the fifth maximum break of his career at the European Masters qualifiers today.

Murphy’s perfect break came in the second frame of his match against Allan Taylor at the Guild Hall in Preston.

The 147 is worth £11,000 from the rolling prize pot for qualifying events.

It’s the 121st maximum in snooker history and third of the season after one from Thepchaiya Un-Nooh and one from Stephen Maguire.
